Terms of service

Last updated 1 July 2026.

Who we are

Content Bureau is a service operated by James Wood, sole trader, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

What the service does

Content Bureau accepts a brand and campaign brief from you and returns generated ad concepts and variants at platform-correct specification. If you connect an advertising account (Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn), the service can, on your instruction, create campaigns, ad sets, ads and creative in that account and read back performance metrics.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and platform-policy compliance of every brief you submit and every ad you launch.
  • You are responsible for all ad spend incurred on advertising accounts you connect.
  • You will not use Content Bureau to generate content that is deceptive, defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful.
  • You will not resell the service or attempt to reverse-engineer it.

Intellectual property

You own your briefs, brands and the generated variants tied to your account. Content Bureau owns the underlying platform, the code, and the aggregated (non-identifying) improvements to generation prompts. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your briefs solely to operate the service.

Third parties

The service depends on Supabase (data storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (language model), and the advertising platforms you connect. Their availability and policies are outside our control. You are subject to each platform's own terms when connecting an advertising account.

Payment

The service is presently free while in early access. If we introduce paid plans, you will be given notice before your account is charged and given the option to decline.

Termination

You may close your account at any time; we will remove your data within 30 days as described in our privacy policy. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, with notice where possible.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that any brief will produce winning ads, that generated copy will pass platform review, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties.

Liability

Our aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £100 while the service is free. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue or lost ad spend, save where such exclusion would be unlawful.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
